Mugwort Spagyric

Mugwort aids digestion via its bitter principal and carminative essential oils. It has a mildly nervine action, easing tension and assisting with depression. It encourages the flow of blood and is a muscle relaxant and uterine stimulant and thus helpful during menstruation, but should be strictly avoided during pregnancy. Mugwort has also been used as a liver tonic for chronic conditions such as hepatitis. Mugwort may be used at night to induce colourful and lucid dreaming.
